Blood in poo - running through it like big veins (yuck!)
Excessive gas
No pain or discomfort

Well blood and mucus are symptoms. And they do say that when the blood is bright red, it has come from that area whereas blood from further up in body would be black because it`s partially digested. I`m not an expert though. Your GP will sort you out.

You shouldn't ignore any of those symptoms.

Get yourself to the doc, asap. They've seen more bums (mine included!) than I care to imagine so don't be embarrassed.

Don't guess with something as important as this. Go and see your GP. Write it down if you find it embarrassing to say it - the GP won't be embarrassed. If it's more than piles, going to the Dr could save your life.

GP is a must, but sounds very much like haemorrhoids, rectologist told me that red blood would only be coming from bottom part of bowel and gave me a sigmoidoscopy to be sure.

It does, but it could be other things, so this one's for your GP.

It could be a fissure (a small tear) that can be easily rectified with minor surgery. I'm speaking through experience, as ages ago I suffered from blood whilst going to the loo. I went to the doctors thinking it was haemorrhoids and was informed otherwise. I'm not saying that it isn't haemorrhoids, I'm just letting you know of any other possibilities ......

You must go to the doctor - anytime on Monday will do.
The bits you should tell him more than once is...
bloody mucus and blood IN the poo and not on (if it is true)

You MUST do this this week and report back....

and dont be put off by yes it is haemorrhoids...
