When we lived in Devon I used to get up in the night for a pee on average once a week, since moving to Wales I now get up in the night at leat once a night and often twice.

Stronger stuff over this side of the border Ratter - they even export it to Birmingham (very sore point in some quarters!)
Question Author
Export to Birmingham! they have it directly on tap from Elan, I will keep an eye out for a big stop cock, if I find it I will turn it off, that will teach them.
Talking of Elan - have you been to Gugrin farm to see the kite feeding?
^^Gigryn even!
Question Author
Yes I have, it was brilliant, we see a lot of red kites around here, not so many on the farm but many in the area, I love to see them, amazing great birds!
We don't see them on Anglesey but we get the usual Buzzards and Kestrels by the main roads but we have seen them over the Denbigh Moors area. Been to Gigryn 3 times now and amazed at how many birds congregate there and the varying species and even what appears to be an albino kite. Terrific viewing - took Gs breath away the first time she saw the feeding.
I think the air pressure is higher.

The higher ambient pressure compresses the water, until you drink it, when it expands again.
No, really.
:0)
Interesting...very interesting.
Shouldn't this be in CB?
It's in Body And Soul because ...

RATTER is asking about the effect of the water on his BODY. And ...

SOUL is a homophone for a flatfish, commonly served with butter and lemon.
Question Author
JJ, perhaps you could advise me on how to decompress the water prior to drinking it?

Sqad, yes it is very interesting! I put it in this category because of the negative affect it is having on my body and my soul.

Could it be due to extra heavy gravity due to living three parts of the way up a mountain?
ageing can do this, i find the same, without drinking all that much.
Drink it in a vacuum, I suppose.

Or at the top of a big hill.
(wonders if RATTER living up a mountain exposes a flaw in the "ambient pressure" proposition?)
you are older lol
No! No! RATTER, is is interesting because last night whilst watching TV, Mrs sqad said

" I wonder how many times RATTER gets up in the night to pass water (pee)?"

When I come on to AB...you have answered our query.

That is what I meant by "interesting."

Question Author
Emmie, mallyh, no not that!!

I think you are onto something JJ, I have a thermos vaccum flask, if I fill it at the bottom of the mountain I could eliminate flaw in the "ambient pressure" proposition and then rush to the top of the mountain to drink it... problem solved and a restfull sleep at last!!
Question Author
I see Squad, I suddenly feel at one with Mrs Squad, she was clearly in tune to my urinary plight, please assure her that thanks to JJ I now have the situation under control (without any Ibuprofen)
get a pair of billy connally underpants then you can stay in bed lol
