Concerned About Red Patch On Face

Hi I know I should see gp but as they are closed I was wondering if anyone can offer some help. Have today noticed a red patch of skin on my face, its smooth doesn't hurt at all and feels very slightly raised. Its about 10mm across and down though not a perfect circle. What could it be

I got some special liquid off the doctor and it went away within about 2 weeks. I recall reading somewhere that you aren't supposed to put hydro cortisone on your face, may have been on the leaflet in the box. The only thing in the meantime I would put on it is moisturising cream and then if it doesn't go, see your doctor as and when. Hope this helps.
