has anyone been on Dianette and found it gives you an upset stomach like all the time and acid/heartburn??? and aslo generally feeling rough?cos its driving me mad and i think it could possibly be this Pill?!

I was on Dianette for 7 years and experienced the same symptoms you describe, however, i canged pill about 4 months ago and am still getting the same thing- but worse- maybe its just a pill thing?? Maybe we should go to the doc?!

I've tried three brands of pill in recent years and they've all made me feel rough in some way or another.  I'd go back to your GP and maybe try a different type if I were you.

I too suffered when I took Dianette - I changed to microgynon and have no side affects! Speak to your doc they should help you out!

just to throw a spanner in the works, I used dianette and was fine! Altho it didn't clear my spots up!

I too was on Dianette but it made me evil and didn't clear up my spots either.  Doc then put me on Marvelon, which I found amazing altho did get more headahces.

Am now not on anything atm and feel better than I have for years!!

Hi.  I've been on dianette for about 3 years and I'm fine on it - no adverse side effects whatsoever, touch wood.  I don't get spots, but was hoping that it might help with the excess hair growth I get because I have PCOS.  My main fear when I started taking it was the weight gain aspect (I've always had a major weight problem and was trying to diet at the time I was put on it) but it hasn't affected the weight loss at all - 6 stone in total.  I'd certainly go back to your GP and ask about switching to an alternative - there are loads of similar pills around that may suit you better.  Best of luck!
