Omega 3 Fish Oils
25 Answers
I thought I might try using Omega 3 fish oil capsuals. Yesterday in Costco they had Wild Alaskan Salmon Omega 3 fish oils. I think they are cold pressed oils. I didn`t buy them but am wondering now if I should have. Do you think they are any better than just the regular oils from Holland and Barrett?

The notion that fish oils is beneficial comes from research that showed people who ate more fish were doing better. It was assumed that the fish oils were beneficial and a huge industry blossomed.
More recent research directly using fish oil supplements showed no benefit at all, suggesting that it is not the fish oil that is effective at all but the reduction in the consumption of red meat when it is replaced in the diet by by fish.
Don't waste your money.
