I read that if you use one cup of Listerine (I suppose other mouth washes are available)
One cup of vinegar and one half cup of water as a foot soak you are left with no hard skin.
Is this likely to be true?
I keep seeing this as well, haven't tried it yet though. Be careful not to use the blue or green Listerine as some people have complained that it stained their feet ;)
I can't believe you're magically left with no hard skin, Listerine probably softens and makes it easier to remove. You still need to apply a good foot cream every day as a prevention. I use Compeed.
no idea, RATTER. I didn't get any other sensitivity or allergy symptoms apart from this horrible sensation of burning and my heels felt hot to the touch
I did it after seeing it on Facebook. I doubled it up though because it was such a small amount.Like anything, it works but only if you do it often. Personally, I'd rather use Listerine for my teeth and go for a regular pedicure!:)
Confusion may have arisen from the original poster who was on about soaking his dentures. The article was then widely distributed within the sound of Bow Bells where plates = feet and the rest is 'istory guvnor.
