Thing 2 has blisters on the tops of his ears. I don't think it can be due to the sun as we haven't seen it for months. He did have a problem last year with his hands blistering and peeling. I haven't changed any washing products or shampoos, etc. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be and how to treat it? Thank you.

No big deal.

Almost certainly allergic in origin.....Google "Juvenile Spring Eruption"

Hydrocortisone cream 1% applied thrice daily should do the trick.
juvenile spring eruption. Not sunburn but an allergic reaction to sun.
