Never!! I moved from the Midlands to sunny(!?) Reading when I was 24, not knowing anybody - came here for my first proper job out of uni....its geographically 100 miles (not much compared to some of the posts here I know) but may as well be a million miles in terms of the friends I have made and the career opportuniteis opened up. If anything its been too succesful - I have met so many people that now I find I spread myself too thinly across a wide group of mates, when sometimes I'd just like a bit of peace and quiet!
My motto is 'regret what you didn't do, not what you did', so go for it, you'll hopefully have a blast. Good luck...let the AB'ers know how you get on?
