I can't cough because breathing in to get a good cough going is agony.
Breathing in in general is agony
Laying down is agony
Burping and hiccoughing is agony.
I can't catch my breath enough to get a good draw going on my pipe

Let's try to cheer her up with a few good reasons to visit Whitby, I'll start with:
1) Hoping to catch a glimpse of our hair-netted superstar gutting fish on the quay in her white wellies.
2) The constant sound of the foghorn blasting out as the weather closes in every Bank Holiday, (and many other days)
3) The Seaman's Mission, a favourite haunt of Mrs O.
3) The proliferation of crabs in this town. (See above)
