Sleeping Troubles
7 Answers
I have trouble sleeping at night. I barely ever sleep and when I do it's not until 5am and then I have to get up in an hour for school. During holidays I get more sleep but it's still only 2 or 3 each day. I need help on ways I can get to sleep when I go to bed at 10pm or things I can do so I'm not so bored (or tempted)

Also something as simple as reading a chapter or two of a good book can often help people to relax, so that can then quickly doze off afterwards.

I've been sleeping badly myself for over 2 years since the death of my husband. I am a bit of a night owl, and know if I go to bed before midnight I will never sleep. I always watch something light, or read for the last hour before retiring, then to help me to drop off I do something strange, which is to hum to myself. This usually works, and I can get up to 6 hours sleep. I don't have the worry of having to get up early, so can simply lay and relax for a while I the morning. My only suggestion is to not go to bed so early, but wait until your eyes are nearly closing. Good luck!
