How did yesterday go?

Spent nearly 2 hours getting poked and prodded and walloped with a rubber hammer, got sent off for another MRI scan at start of it (gritted my teeth and did it).
Rather than damage caused by old RTA, he thinks it's nerves trapped at the elbow, it happens to some people who are Diabetic he tells me, and needs more investigation, am seeing his bossman (his words) in 3 or 4 weeks time.

Good luck and hopefully there are no more MRIs in your future. I have had one but it was on my brain so it wasn't too claustrophobic.

Wolf's post reminds me of the time a lad from school had to go for a brain scan......next morning his mum popped her head around the staff room door to say he'd had his brain scan....all was well because they found nothing...

Every member of staff had to bite tongues not to say...We knew that!!!!!!

Liquid refreshments?

I had a lecture from my diabetes doctor this afternoon about my daily overconsumption of my favourite liquid refreshment. It seems that drinking one and a half litres of Pepsi Max is excessive.

Gness - my brother had a scan for asymmetric deafness - differential d.acoustic neuroma

and when he said I have had the brain scan....
I couldnt resist - thinking and saying.... hmmmm and did they find one ?
