Co-Codamal And Diazepam Are You Allowed Them Both Or Do You Have To Chose

Hi there the co-codamol 30/500 seems to be working with the pain however anxiety is becoming bad am I allowed to take a diazepam when on cocodamol do I have to chose I would prefer to be anxious than in pain

marje has given you the answer......Google it.....the pharmacists would........and so probably would the doctor.

The answers given by boxy and jno about going to the pharmacist for advice, confuses me.

If you wandered into the back of the pharmacist's desk and into the "back", you would be surrounded by drawers and shelves of drugs.
Does the pharmacist know the side effects and drug interactions of all thos drugs?
No!..........he Googles them.

What about our maligned doctor, dies he fare better?

Yes! He will know the side effects and drug interactions of drugs that he prescribes, because he uses far fewer and knows them more intimately than does our pharmacist.

So yes, go to the pharmacist, but if the doctor has prescribed the combination, then he takes the "can back" if anything goes awry.

A simple concept seems to be that the doctor prescribes and the pharmacist dispenses.
