Severe Allergic Reaction To Something.
9 Answers
During the last three weeks, I have had two episodes of severe allergic reaction to something or other. Not anaphylactic but bad enough. Both times, I awoke with swollen, almost closed eyes, swollen lips and puffy face. I had dreadful headaches too.
I have been taking anti histamines since the first episode, even so, my eyelids are still red and sore. My GP prescribed anti histamine eye drops and hydrocortisone cream. I am getting better but still feel lousy.
Am I still fighting off whatever it was? Is that why I feel so rough?

You have made the correct diagnosis... ... an allergic reaction.... ....and your GP has given the appropriate treatment... ......don't worry.
