help me decide!!!

hi, my name is phil.......i av bin considerin gettin a dragon tattooed at the top of my right arm....a fairly small 1! I can't quite decide whether 2 go ahead wid it! Please can i av sum advantages and dis-advantages.

Hi Phil/Inky - It's entirely up to you whether or not you decide to have a tattoo on your arm, but just remember that once it's there, it won't be so easy to remove!

• good thing - might look cool
• bad thing  - might look sh!te
• good thing - always a talking point
• bad thing - will hurt a bit (which of course could also be a good thing!)
• bad thing - very difficult to get rid of if you change your mind

All I would say is if you're not sure yet, don't do it. (In case you're wondering, I've got 4 tats: 3 I'm really glad I had done & 1 - the one I wasn't sure about - I wish I hadn't)

If you do decide to get one done, make sure you get it done by a professional who knows exactly what they're talking about. I've heard numerous stories of people who have been tempted to get a tattoo, but they go to an unskilled tattooist and regret it. The disadvantage with this would obviously be that it would be very hard/expensive to get rid of the tattoo.

A friend of mine had an 18 year old son who wanted a tattoo, I can only say what he said. "For every 18 year old who has a tattoo there's a 28 year old who wishes he hadn't" He didn't get it done.
