thanks kev, that is my advice to him, typical male though, i will wait until morning...... if morning ever comes.. hope the will is all tied up.. thanks again K
You're welcome conkarin.
Those are best people to see. The thing with medical issues is some symptoms can be very similar for different problems.. even GP's don't get it right everytime. With ANY chest pains, it's best to seek a professional. It could be an ulcer, could be a hernia, could be a blood clot.. could be anything.. Tell him to not be stubborn it's for his own good. By the way, I hate going to the doctors of hospital.

As everyone else recommended, seeing a doctor should be his first priority.

Personally speaking, though, I can tell you that years ago I had a similar pain, and thought perhaps it was the beginnings of a heart attack or something (not that I'm a hypochondriac, of course...)  ;>  Anyway, I went to the doctor and he determined that I had a hiatal hernia, and acid reflux disease.  I've noticed since that drinking a lot of alcohol does make that pain come back.  Not sure if this is your partner's prob or not, just my two pence worth...

I hav found myself drinkin more then usual.......wen i stopped..my body was givin me similar soundin pain! Gradually went.......but don't wait.....go c a doc!
sounds like acute gastritis.   He needs to stop drinking pronto and go to docs.
