Since '09 I take a 75mg tab every other day, Doc's orders.

Yes, with my nan it caused so much damage to her stomach she had ongoing digestion and bowel problems the stress of which led to depression and eventually suicide. I was very shocked to hear the recommendation on the news this morning!

Ten years ago my doctor advised me to take a low dose aspirin daily, which i did without any noticeable side effects. Now he has advised me to stop taking it. I don't think they can decide one way or the other.

Professor Cusick did make the point that side effects outweigh benefits after the age of 70. Like others here I have been taking 75mg Aspirin, for me it's over 12 years. No noticeable side effects

Aspirin...75mgms enteric coated......daily....whenever...with or without food.

I have an allergic reaction to aspirin, so not for me.

I have thrombocythaemia and I have been taking my 2 chemo tablets PLUS 75 mg dispersible aspirin per day since being diagnosed. No problems.

My concern with doing anything 'they' suggest is many do's and don'ts 'they' have suggested in the past have turned out to be wrong.
