What Nationality Is Your Soul?
68 Answers
Just for fun- you perhaps are born in the united Kingdom but do you have a yearning for Jamaica, or are you a cool Swede? I'm born French Canadian but have an affinity with Italy. I LOVE everything about it even the smelly streets in Naples. I could live on Italian food and feel I should have been an Italian mamma, making home-made pasta and tomato sauce from scratch and having all the family around the table outside on the veranda drinking home made wine (getting carried away lol!) So whats your Souls nationality?

Although I did feel an affinity in Majorca I was happy there....maybe the sea sand and spaniards. The place I never feel settled in is Tenerife, I always have a foreboding of some sort while I'm there. And downright unsafe in Bangkok.

These answers are really interesting. I wonder why some of us feel an infinity with a place or country? - sometimes where we've never visited. Years ago we purchased a property in a village we had never really thought about but it felt 'homely'. A couple of years ago I did a family tree and found out my great great grandmother had been born in the village, in a house only a couple of houses away from ours -amazing!
When I was little I used to sit on the garden wall listening to soul music and dreaming about a place across the Atlantic. I didn`t know where it was but I knew there was lots of blue. I`d been to America and other places in that direction but it wasn`t there. Then one night I coming back from a restaurant in Barbados and the driver was playing sould music and I knew "This is that place"
what a fabulous question. It is interesting to see how people have an affinity with a place even if they have never been there.
also interesting to see how many people have loved a special holiday destination where they have felt happy and relaxed.
obviously i am from the gnomeland and love it but have always wanted to live somewhere warm, where you can sit out late at night under the stars and not be cold. i love the outside cafe culture and afternoon siestas and relaxed lifestyle of the Med.
No particular country just somewhere warm.
