i am 46 and prefer a bit of stubble , i wouldnt be seen dead to have a mess such as this on my face it just looks ugly , unclean and dirty especially on young men.

I Hate beards -they do cover up an ugly face I suppose but as a french person, having to cheek kiss bearded men was always horrible -they do smell and I'd rather a man be clean shaven and smell of a nice cologne. Stuff the Vikings -they had to rape and pillage to get a woman lol!

Sqad I think men who demand certain a certain look for their women have a bigger inferiority complex. Not comfortable being around a person just being themselves and all that.
I like goatees but not a full beard and moustaches are just wrong.

True story, reported in the scientific press. Clean-shaven scientist accused bearded scientist of having an unhygienic beard. Bearded scientist rejected this claim. It was developing into an "I say it is", "No, I say it isn't" argument, when one said - " here, we are supposed to be scientists, we had better do some research". Thay agreed they would both have beards and test them, The cleanshaven one grew his beard, and when the beards were of similar size, they sprayed a harmless organism into each. Both men went about their usual business, did their usual ablutions, showers, washes, etc, and after a fortnight tested both beards. Both beards still had traces of the organism. Both men shaved off the beards and remained clean-shaven for the sake of cleanliness.
