If you're a couple, do you sleep separately for practical reasons? According to this article it's a growing trend. I've slept separately for a few years now & wouldn't go back to a shared bed (on a permanent basis) I answered a posters question not long ago (cuddle attack) ... the couple were having problems sleeping & I suggested sleeping apart, I think some find the idea weird. What do you think? Would you embarrassed to admit you did? http://yahoo.match.com/cp.aspx?cpp=/cppp/yahoo/article.html&articleid=12529&TrackingID=526103&BannerID=1364544
We do these days for health reasons .I suffer with arthritis and shuffle from side to all night ,read until the early hours ,get up and wander about etc ..and Mr S had a major operation a few years ago and has a wound plus he snores for England so it's much more comfortable for us both to have our own space .
For the first six months....shared a bed ........mainly for sex.
Second 6 months got fed up with " same sex"
Third six months and from then until now......different bedrooms.
shaney, that's practical & a necessity then. Even though I've read it's a growing trend, I'm a little surprised at how many on here are 'doing it' too!
