I had mentioned that dentist couldn't emphasise enough of the use of these wooden sticks - anyway they were too thick and snapped. Then sis brought me over the fine brushes but they had metal stems - no, they made my fillings go "ping".

Came across some more in superdrug - they are the best.

plastic brushes on a plastic stem. hurray.

Was able to floss with ease the first time today.

Yes think it was you Ubasses who had recommended various things.

i have to go back to dentist in April to be fitted with a final titanium plate and I know she will notice if I have been flossing.
Oh yes they can definitely tell. I have just got told off for not seeing the Hygienist enough.
I dislike the Superdrug ones, much prefer the ones with a metal stem.
I think I'm addicted to flossing...
I found a device called a Waterpik very useful, it uses a very high pressure jet of water to 'Floss' your teeth, it is a bit tricky to start with and I re-grouted the wall tiles a few times accidentally but the end result is now noticeable to me (and my dentist!), no bleeding gums at all now. Highly recommended
