I discussed this with a guy I know and he reckons that men just like the visual stimulation as an aid to masturbation, but they don't 'need' it, it's just nice if they can get it.
I feel the same way!
To continue -
I think women feel threatened if they think their man 'needs' stimulation outside his relationship, and they don't view pornography in that way.
Personally, if you think of relationship as 'steak and chips', and porn as 'apple pie and ice-cream', then you can see that a man likes his steak, but a nice desert, completely different, is nicec as well. Not 'instead of' but 'as well as' if he's not full, and fancies something different off the menu to finish off .... so to speak!
Look. Men and women are different. And it's well documented that for the vast majority of men, the sexual urge can be greatly increased through visual stimulation.
As a comedian on tv one said - "Women - seen one naked... want to see 'em all naked".
Fact is, mostly, the personality doesn't even come in to the equation. Hell, the face doesn't.
The original intention of this query was not whether women liked porn more so what they thought of their partners liking it i.e. when they unwittingly find a razz mag under the bed or pics on the hard drive does their opinion of this man they thought they knew change?
Do they feel inferior? Do they feel more self concious?
Does the content of the photos (various) also change they way that they think their partners brain perceives sex and women in general?
