a wast of time to find a career ouside one's major?
1 Answers
i jsut got a job that has little to do with what i've learned, but somehow i find that a total disconnection between one's major and one's job is a huge waste of both time and resource.I'm so confused if i should do the job or not. if it's true that many college graduates would end up with a professions that is not based on their major, is there anything wrong of our education system?

If you feel you can only be happpy by pursuing the career path for which you trained, then you should aim to gain employment within that area, but if, as in many cases, you are oblidged to work in a different skill area in order to find employment, you need to make the necessary adjustment to allow yourself to enjoy what you do.
