Any idea what the liquid that dental hygienists use to reveal gumline decay is called? It's sprayed on and discolours if there is any such problem. Is it available to buy for mere mortals and, if so, where? My thanks in advance.

It's called disclosing liquid, Quizmonster. Available online from Amazon and many others. Also available in tablet form.

You're absolutely right, OG. I made the mistake, as this was the very first time - in over seven decades - a hygienist has used the liquid on me...as far as I am aware!
