Under Active Thyroid Causing Sensitive To The Cold
22 Answers
I was diagnosed with an interactive thyroid 9 years ago and take thyroxin every day and have 3 monthly blood tests and my levels are correct the problem is I really suffer badly with a sensitivity to the cold. I can go for a 1/2 hour walk and end up under a blanket for the rest of the day! It's manly my bottom and thighs that are effected. I usually take a bath which eases it but I was wondering if there is something else I can take or do to make it stop! I've got thermals and hand warners but nothing works!

I think it`s just because there is less blood near the surface because it`s just fat there. I would think that massaging the area after being in the cold would help - either with your hands or with a massager in the shower.
