Hi, have picked your brains a few times.
Last night ended up at A and e, as I completely lost my hearing in my left ear and then got exceptionally dizzy and unbalanced.
After a lengthy check up, I was given waxsol and stemetil and an appointment to get my ear seen to.
Bp was really up but then i was panicky, rest of stats were fine. Neurological signs all fine.
I am still getting dizzy, is this normal even on stemetil?
thanks

My only "slight" worry would be that the deafness was indeed caused by the wax.
When is your appt to "get your ear seen to" and what Dr is it..GP or ENT surgeon?
From what you have said, there is nothing to worry about and stemetil is the drug of choice.

\\\\\appointment is in two weeks \\\\
That is NOT acceptable. See your GP tomorrow, tell him that you have been using wax softeners for a week and that you would like your ear syringing.
Don't let them fobb you off.
If your hearing is fine after syringing...all well and good, but if it isn't then get back to me
