Boy to Girl Ratio

Does anybody know what the ratio is for boys to girls? Either in britain or the world? Or know it for local areas?

In 2003 the population of males (all ages) in the UK was 29,108 thousand, whilst for women (all ages) it was 30,446 thousand.  So that makes the male to female ratio: 49/51.  So for every bloke there is 1.04 women.  Not quite a party, but there you go.
