Ferrous Fumarate

I have some Ferrous fumarate that say they expire 07/15. They say they were manufactured 08/13.
I'm assuming the expiry date can't be that precise, and that they won't just go bad at the end of July, so when do you think they can safely last to? I don't want to throw them away. Thanks.

I'd be happy to use them until at least the end of 2015. I've just eaten a lovely yoghurt that was 8 days past the use by date

Hopefully sqad or someone will know better than me though- I wouldn't want to hear you'd been taken ill. I'd risk it but it may be unfair to suggest you should

I've never heard of it but thought the only risk with drugs going past their date is they lose their efficacy rather than going 'bad'.

Yes, they should be effective and safe to take.
