Belly piercing problem
5 Answers
I had my belly pierced in March - it healed pretty well for the first couple of months but then I think I got complacent and infected it.. so it pussed for a couple of months and was a bit sore and red etc etc. Now it no longer hurting or anything like that, but I've JUST noticed that the skin holding the piercing in has almost disappeared altogether! I'm not exaggerating, it's as thin as it could get without snapping entirely. The skin is sort of white, crusty and very thread-like with a bit of brown - basically old and rather dead-looking skin. What should I do now? I took out my belly ring this morning, hoping that the hole might heal up a bit and grow back some skin so that I can reinsert it, before the skin breaks. Any suggestions though (as I don't really have a clue what to do)? Thank you so much for any ideas you can give me!

The skin in the middle totally disappeared and eventually it just disappeared one day and the belly bar fell out. I got it done October last year.. and then it fell out about February this year. It has left a faint scar and is red in the middle, But i went back into the piercing shop and they said i can get it repierced the same place and i got this done in June and now everything is great!
How is yours now? Hope this is ok for advice!
