\\\Can it be cured with or without surgical intervention? \\\
Never had one myself and i am only assuming that you have had a retinal haemorrhage from your description.
The most commonest cause is the blockage of a vein in the retina, which may be age related or maybe due to diabetes. This is by far away the commonest and usually clears without treatment.
Detached retina can also occur causing bleeding, but this does require surgery but your symptoms do not suggest this.
