Well I have been using these new titanium teeth 3 months but still feel a bulkiness in my mouth. I thought the the new teeth would feel much thinner. Shall I make an appointment to see if the dentist could thin the chromium plate - is that possible. thanks you for answers.

thansk samasuraian - are you a dentist - I am awaiting an answer from J9 Pur who is a dentist - I don't want to feel a fool
Why on earth would you feel a fool? Just phone up and ask.
er just asking
how much did you pay for this ?
no, if you're unhappy with them, ask. Maybe there's nothing your dentist can do and if so he'll tell you. But he might be able to slim them down.
They can thin the teeth but not the titanium plate. I had this problem 5 years ago. After having one successfully for 30 years, I decided I wanted to upgrade it, but the new one never fitted properly so the dental lab where it was made refunded my £500.

Go back and complain.
Hi JJ

I agree with previous posts that you should go back and discuss with your dentist. S/he is the only person that can advise you, but there is little prospect of the chrome plate being 'thinned' once it has been cast up. However, it MAY be possible to trim the back edge so that it does not extend so far back. This MAY reduce the feeling of bulk, but will possibly reduce the retention of the plate at the same time.
