Any Tips On Mindfullness Or Turning Off Adrenaline Edgy
11 Answers
Hi there I have an interview tomorrow morning and I am well prepared and confident about it. I know what I am wearing and I feel ready to go for it. However I have a distraction I have to travel by bus 20 miles to pick up a sleep mask for sleep apnoea the appointment has been arranged for ages. My parents are away on holiday so I have to go on my own the bus journey by the express is only 40 minutes over 1 hour on the slow bus that goes through the country. But Im going to have all this adrenaline for the interview and I need that to do my best it is useful for somethings !! But I am terrified of travelling and at the moment freaking out about it i need to get this out of my mind as I dont want to be worrying about it at the interview. Ive got all this adrenaline racing through me already

Is there any way that the mask could be delivered to you, like prescriptions are?
There must be many instances when people have to do this, so my suggestion would be to postpone the pick up and concentrate on the interview.
A bit of adrenaline is good for interviews - so now try thinking beyond the interview, ie how great you'll feel when it's over and done with. You'll give it your best shot, then relax and get on with your life.
Good luck Gordie.

I think it went very well it was 90 minutes with a lot of questions but I felt I gave good answers and was able to sell myself and skills well. I did a lot of research on the company and their vision and I tried to relate it back in most of the answers I gave. I rearranged my appointment at the hospital I know I did the right thing as I would have struggled to perform as well as I did if I had to worry about travelling afterwards. Thanks for all your help. They will let me know in due course. But even to get an interview is a major achievement after applying for jobs for years it is really encouraging to get one.
