Hi sqad, Mri results are in, can you interpret them for me?
MRI HEAD: There are movement artefacts throughout the examination, reducing image quality. Minor periventricular hyperintensities in the right hemisphere which are non specific. Diffusion weighted imaging is unremarkable with no evidence or acute or recent ischaemic events. No intracranial SOL. No midline shift.
Ventricles, basal cisterns and cortical sulci are normal for patients age. Normal flow voids arising from major intracranial arteries.
MRI IAM: Both IAM’s are symmetrical and patent with no mass lesions in cerebellar pontine angles. Normal signal returned from internal ear structures. Craniocervical junction unremarkable.
Paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear. Intra-Orbital structures unremarkable.
I saw my consultant yesterday as I had another episode and he has upped my Serc to 32mg 3xtimes a day.
