Bad Chesty Coughs And Deep Down Mucus Problem

ive had it more than a month, the nurse i seen last week was useless she told me to drink lemon and honey and then brushed me off with the flick of a hand the old *****. this after she checked my chest and all the while i coulnt get a breath and was coughing very badly.

anyway its been here a long time with no let up. ive had medicine, lemon and honey drinks, olas oil soaked in a cloth and put in my pillow while i slept ...useless too.

anyone know what could bring this mucas up from deep down in my chest ?

Squad I think you are right maybe of society today. Come here get free advice from many proffesionals in that field and go away lol time for some more steam my nose and head is telling me.

ive been doing olbas oil soaked in flannel overnight, inhalation over the sink, fed up of drinking honey and lemon.

still no let up. H4C i go back again on wed 13th for more tests and results.

sometimes feel as if im going to choke or suffocate so it must be serious if this mucas cannot clear itself from my chest.

calling docs in a bit to get seen.

have you had chest x ray ? please ask for one as there seems to be a lot of these complaints around that have developed into nasty and serious coditions

DD good on you my appointment with doc is at 11.00

Ok results from my trip to docs have a boil inside one ear canal. Treatment 5 days of strong antibiotics. Will visit him then if boil is still there it will need to be lanced at hospital. He thinks boil may break on its own as swelling goes down.

Anne just asked what colour sputum was. I just gave colour of outcome from my nose - sorry for confusion - you think there are more problems?

Sputum is used to describe the mucus we cough up usually, hope your antibiotics help.

Boil in the ear will be sore.

It is mamy but it's got two ways to go hopefully antibiotics will kick in by the morning

Diesel till you get satisfactory reply from your docs then keep knocking on the door or as I said earlier go to a walk in centre - I would take latter route in your position and what you have said
