Well, three.... if you count 'Ernie, The Fastest Milkman in the West', which he played in tribute to Stewpot.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two hours.

what were the other two - in your humble opinion, of course?
Really enjoy this programme but missed it today.
Skues is doing a tribute spot later too. He used to work with him on Radio London.
Five counties radio, if anyone is interested 10-1.
Usually listen to it but forgot today

The last one, a David Bowie row and one sung by a screechy American woman. I don't know who it was, I had to leave the kitchen

That's in my opinion. Not necessarily humble, I must add. :-)
Feel free to disagree, Mushroom.
Question Author
It started with 'The Joker' and continued in the same excellent vein.

Thanks, Cupid. I shall probably be asleep by 10.05 though.

You missed a good one today, Gav and Sibs. Never mind. He'll be on again next week.
Johnny Walker's ok for you older listeners :-)
not sure i agree "drive-in saturday" is a row - it's full of amazing lyrical imagery. can't say i recognise your description of screechy woman - it was all good today, even Ernie, given the context of its inclusion.

Blimey, didn't realise he was still going, he must be very old by now, might have a listen next week!

not just us kids of the seventies melv - the youngsters of today will also recognise modern retreads, samples and pastiches, and are often amazed to hear the original source material.
Question Author
Melv, you don't know what you're missing, being a mere strip of a lad.

Mushroom, I can see why some people like Bowie. I don't. (Except for Space Oddity)

I can't help with the screechy woman. He played it towards the end having had a little excerpt where she was talking about herself.
* tilly...you can get it on BBc I player...Radio Norfolk is the easiest to do!
Question Author
I'll have a look, Cupid. Thanks again.
Question Author
Baldric, he's seventy now and still sounds the same.
He was on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip during the week.
ah ok, probably cheryl lynn then. she's not to everyone's taste but the song was a defining moment in the disco scene. and it included ray "ghostbusters" parker junior on guitar.
I find him one of the better DJs on the radio. My main gripe is he plays stuff that I've heard a thousand times before. I now tune into radio Scotland in the evening, you get a good eclectic mix of music with some oldies that haven't been done to death.
Question Author
You obviously know more about music than I do, Mushroom. I just know what I like and don't like.

Yes, it was Cheryl Lynn. I have never heard of her. Wreckless Eric was on last week and I've never heard of him either.
Question Author
I'm a bit set in my ways, Melv. I like the old stuff.

Fortunately, Mr T is a bit more with it and keeps me up to date with more modern stuff. I really dislike some of the music he plays, so he plays it whilst I am out and he's doing the housework. :-)
I loved Wreckless Eric ("Wjole Wide World") but I always felt sorry for him as he was popular on radio and kept making songs but never had a hit.
I enjoyed today apart from the choice of Lemmy track (Louis Louis)- my least favourite I think. I really enjoyed The Eagles (Already Gone) and The Rods (Do anything you wanna do "
