I just found one of these cities on Google Earth, called "Kangbashi" really strange!!

The article says the cities will house people moved from rural areas. What will happen to rural industry...farming,etc? What measures will be taken to help those who are moved to adjust? It opens up all sorts of questions.
The cities as they are now are spooky and devoid of life.

Those Parisian developments are rather beautiful...in a Gaudi-esque kind of way. It would be a shame to demolish them.
