I was told my test was 115 instead of 125 at the blood donors this week so they would not let me give blood. They said it was normal enough but not for blood donations. Is it worth going to the doctors ? I am feeling well.

Simply increase your intake of iron-rich food:

You only need to see your doctor if you've got the symptoms here:

Seems normal enough..............but not for the rigorous conditions of giving blood.

I wouldn't go to the doctor's.
In over 90 donations, that happened to me once, many years ago. OK the following and subsequent sessions, and I'm still here!.
I don't think you need to see the doctor, as you feel well.
The blood people have to be fussy about the blood they take. Don't worry about it.

Thank you all I have bought some iron tabs x
they can clog you up...increase your fruit and veg intake as well.
No stop, not the iron tabs! They are gruesome and I would avoid at all costs.

Even if you were very low for the sake of your stomach, I would advise anything but!

If you feel well, do nothing but eat more green veg and some marmite.
