It doesn't bloat me but some people claims it bloats them.
3 rounds (slices?) bread - at bedtime. Cripes!
Just a thought. You've had some form of gastric surgery for your weight - could that give you the feeling of bloat if you eat too much?
It definitely bloats me. I look 7 months pregnant if I eat bread. Since I stopped eating it it hasn't happened.
does me !
Commercially produced bread bloats me but my own homemade doesn`t. Someone told me it`s something to do with the fermentation - don`t know how true that is.
all this wind and gas - nothing other than a verre du vin for me, having had a good lunch with Mikey today. Bread does bloat though and it can depend on what type.....
I quote, "Probably one-third of patients in my allergy clinic complain of digestive symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach pain after eating bread," says Isabel Skypala PhD, specialist allergy dietitian at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.

She says allergy is unlikely to be the culprit, but bread-related symptoms are real and wheat could be to blame.

"Some people find certain foods are simply hard to digest and wheat appears to be one of those," she explains.
Hi dt.. yes, not an allergy, but wheat intolerance isn't uncommon. It can come and go, too. Try avoiding it for a couple of weeks and see.
I find bread so filling.
You should love bread, ummmm...... use it to counter bruising by dipping it in a little vinegar and apply.
I start eating bread...and then can't stop. Last week I ate more bread than I would in 6 months...I still feel rough from it. That does include bloating.
I love bread, the yeastier the better, when I make my own I put extra yeast in it, no bloating though, perhaps some people eat it too quickly.
Lol, DT, I'll try that :-)
I like bread too....but not so close to bedtime.
if I was you, ummmm, I'd have the Arnica cream, not the gel, handy....used it on my ice-skating daughter, excellent stuff and an essential for any sports bag, particularly effective if it's applied on the potential bruise within ten minutes.
I've got some. My cousin, an ex boxer, got it for me when I broke my toe the other week :-D
That is a hazard of kick-boxing ummmm
It's the hazard of getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom...I now own a torch :-)
OMG OMG, ummmm with a blow torch - is the world ready?
