Is there a virus doing the rounds where you ache all over, feel queasy, cold and shaking, then hot and sweating, then a hacking cough? Because if so I have had it for a week. Anyone else had it, how long does it last?

I'm just getting over it, feel terribly tired. It started slowly last Saturday, I felt a bit better by Thurs., managed to stay up all day yesterday. Still coughing and run out of energy fast e.g. I cleaned the loo and now have to sit down and chat on here - yes I washed my hands! Now going to make lunch-time sandwiches, then I'll sit down again. Good luck with it smurfchops Someone else told me it took a good week to get over it and that seems to be true. :(

I had it about 2 weeks ago. Like a bad case of flu. Just keep hydrated and take ibuprofen. Also I took copious amount of Covonia for the cough.

Sounds similar to what my daughter has been suffering from. I think just treat the symptoms, I.E. cough mixture, ibuprofen and rest
