Frozen Shoulder And Diabetes
32 Answers
Never heard before that a frozen shoulder could be linked to diabetes...
Been the doctors this morning with a frozen shoulder, Ive had it since before Christmas and hoped it would right itself, it hasn't, its got worse. He examined me and asked questions and is sending me for a blood test for diabetes.
1) How is a frozen shoulder linked to diabetes? never heard that b4
2) I told him that I couldn't have diabetes as Im gaining weight, not loosing it.
Anyone ever heard of this b4? Im getting worried now as im already trying to cope with other ailments... depression, back pain, weight gain, failing eyesight etc
Ah, the joys of ageing!

Didn't have time to mention it today, the gp had a full surgery and was a bit pushed and I didn't think it was relevant at the time.

Metallic taste in mouth is a common complaint in the diabetes forum, whether people are medicated for diabetes or regulate it by diet.
But then again, a lot of people who haven't got diabetes complain of a funny taste in their mouth, too.
When my sugar levels are high food doesn't taste right to me.
