Anyone done something stupid this weekend?

Last night I went to the freezer to get some ice cubes for my diet pepsi (yes, it really was) and didn't bother to put the light on in the room.    Felt with my hand for the ice cubes, found them, and plopped 6 of them into my drink.   What a surprise when I walking into the living room to find that I had 6 brussels sprouts floating on top of my glass.

How on earth did you mistake ice cubes for sprouts? Do you keep sprouts in the ice cube tray??

Poured boiling water on my cornflakes.

Makes a change from pouring cornflakes into my coffee.

Dear Ket

Sorry didn't explain very well.   Both are plastic bags - about the same size - one containing brussels and one containing ice cubes.  Both kept near each other in the freezer and both had been opened previously.   Did notice (felt) that what I thought were ice cubes were round instead of the usual square shapes but I thought they had brought out round ones for a change and that I hadn't noticed the last time I had used them!

One of my favourites is, when I'm painting I often end up putting the brush straight into my coffee cup!  (wouldn't mind but I don't like coffee colour on my skirting boards!).

i thought i had bought a bacon joint so i boiled it today for dinner then i found out it was a shoulder of pork joint ,i tasted it and it was horrible so i had to throw it out . when my wife finished work she thought she was coming home to a nice cooked dinner ,she was not happy.
