Husbands life support is being withdrawn today, I hope it's over quickly. Don't really know how I'm going to get through this, will have to try and stay strong for the kids sake.

I am so very saddened to read this. All I know is that somehow you will get through it. You need others to help you to be strong enough to support your children and you don't need to be the only one doing that. I hope you have those people.

Thank you all for your kind words, in the end it was very quick and peaceful. Kids are all grown with families of their own, but I'm still their mum and they look to me to provide the strength to get them through. I will have my time when it's all over. Thank you again x
