Implants Just Fallen Out.
22 Answers
Had very expensive front teeth implants done about two/three years ago.
Am in Spain at the moment and both front teeth just fell out!!!!
Managed to push them back in, and have emailed the dentist to ask where we go from here.
But am not due back in the UK till Thursday. Any thoughts?
I am terrified to eat anything. Am existing on yoghurt.
Would using the false teeth 'glue' work??

I found it quite good when my veneer came off while on holiday.

Actually I have just googled in Spanish and I see you have to visit a dentist, it is not considered and A&E emergency. Maybe your travel insurance covers it. ? Anyway, dentists are brilliant in Spain and much cheaper than the UK. Go to a Spanish one though , not an ex-pat one just cos they speak English better !
Several websites (including our own NHS one) state that most public hospitals in Spain have a dentist available for emergency treatments. Worth a try, perhaps?

Apologies for not getting back sooner.
Saw an excellent Spanish dentist yesterday and he 'gently' tried to pull them out again. After a few attempts he stopped and said that they were fairly well attached and that I would probably be okay until I go back to the UK tomorrow. He didn't charge me anything.
Interestingly, he said to avoid soft food like sandwich bread (which I don't eat anyway) as it forms a 'mould' round the teeth, and when you try to remove up it, you push the teeth off too. I had been eating fish and some got stuck on my teeth. I was trying to discreetly remove it with my napkin when I suddenly found my teeth in my hand. Horrible feeling.
Also, I thought that having gone through the long and painful process of getting implants, that would be me for life. Anyway.
Have been in touch with my dentist at home arranging an appointment.
Many thanks to all for your advice and sympathy.
