A good way to go - we should all be as fortunate - but, from experience, it is very hard on the family. Mum had been ill, but was sitting up in bed with tea and toast and reading a letter from a from a friend of hers to Dad - then she just stopped talking. I don't think he ever got over the shock after over 50 years of listening to her voice.
Quite right, one has no recriminations or 'if only's'. RIP June and comfort to her family; eventually the relief that there was no suffering does prevail. xx
