Colonoscope

I can't believe it is 10years since I had a Sigmoid Resection. Has anyone else had one? Mine was for Diverticulitis. I have to have a colonoscopy on Friday for a checkup. Lovely. What a performance the preparations is. Wish me luck.

You will be fine and the the gastro-enterologist will not feel a thing;-)

Thanks Sqad. I'm not worried about the colonoscopy, I will have it under sedation so will have a nice little kip while they do what they have to. I also know the prep. is the worst part. I will take the day off
and spend it in my loo. I just wondered if anyone had had the Sigmoid Resection done. To compare notes, so to say.

Hi Samu - I had one 10 years ago too for diverticulitis but never ever knew I could have had a little sedation as I would have had big time.

And you're right the prep was hard, rotten taste and just made a very long day longer.
