Anyone see it this week ? There was a woman suffering from plantar. Faciitis and while yes I agree she was wearing wrong type of shoes. As they didn't support the foot I thought the doctor. Didn't didn't look more into it , he just told her to get some insoles , if that solves it git her she's a very lucky lady , yes you do need insoles but not the cheP ones you buy your self far better to get from a podiatrist , and also do yoyr exercises for stretching the plantar , he didn't go into the fact it can cause a heel spur which is very painful to walk on and he didn't tell her you can get shock therepy treatment which is the only thing that worked for me , I still lump first thing in morning but fine after that , I just think doctor fobbed her off , opinions ??

I thought he dismissed her very flipantly.

Hi! tez......yes it is very painful, but still boring to the doctor as little is known about it and little can be done.........

Me? Wife has left me for 3 days, she has gone shopping in Barcelona.
Pity you are not close, as you could come round for something to eat, drink and a few laughs......;-)........oh! and come just the way you are in your avatar.......
GP drew a foot diagram showing how the foot was strained by patients flat flip flops & recommended suitable shoes to support her feet. ie Any closed in shoe that doesnt require toes to grip whilst walking. Built up insoles were recommended. All available in high street but not at NHS
