Couple of weeks ago he said he was going swimming which sounds all innocent. Our 2 yr old son was sick so I was looking after him. He was sleeping and I was bored so I was playing around on my phone. Went onto FB an there was Nearby Friends thing I went onto it and it had my bf in a place no way near a swimming pool. When he came home I asked him how his swim was and which pool he went to and he said a place no way near what the FB said. I confronted him and explained I was messing with my phone and found it and that I knew he had lied. He denied it of course and turned the nearby friends thing off on FB so I can't trace him. Today he took our son out for a walk and I found 2 condoms in his wallet. We have been together 8 years so we don't use them. What do you reckon?

Looking back at your history I'd say this relationship has run its course. That's no excuse for cheating though.

The "FB nearby" could possibly be explained away as being inaccurate, or a technical error, etc ..... but the condoms in the wallet .... hmm ..... I think deep down you know the answer :(

Think you played your hand too early re the app if that's^ how it works.
You could have had months of fun and torturing him before confronting and dumping him.

Thanks guys. We had a heart to heart chat last night and he said that hasn't been sure of how he feels about me for a while and that he's never been in love before so he doesn't know how that feels. He said there is no one else. (He's had intimacy issues so not been with anyone else), I said to him that is not a reason to stay with me.

He also said that he doesn't want to miss out on our 2 yr old if we did break up. His Mum n Dad broke up when he was young and he promised himself and our little one he would not be a part-time Dad. I also have a Son who is nearly 14 from a previous relationship and his Dad left when my Son was a baby so my current boyfriend is the nearest to a Dad for him too so will be a double blow for my eldest son. Don't know what to do for the best.
