There are two churches dedicated to Charles I, does anybody know any churches not dedicated to a saint? And why are these churches dedicated to Charles I?
Charles 1 was executed if I remember rightly for his faith so therefore a marytr which would be considered as a saint not sure if Charles 1 was canonised. I believe there is a feast day kept for him. you could go in the church and usually there's a history of the church a leaflet or could write to the priest and ask for details, where are the church's could be places that were associated with King Charles.
I looked up The society of King Charles the Martyr and yes he was made a saint and there seems to be a number of churches dedicated to him and events that take place each year. Jan 30th was day of martyrdom
