Hair Loss (Thinning)
6 Answers
In June I started a low carb diet, excluding bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, grains, beans and all sugar. 3 months later to the day I notice my hair is really feeble and thin, and loads comes out when I comb it. I'm now really worried about this. Has anyone else experienced hair loss linked with diet change, and when does it stop?!

Low carb/high fat, and keto to may be considered extreme by some...but they also work for many. Also, doing low carb DOES NOT mean cutting out food groups, as the eating of plenty of non starchy veg is encouraged.
I do wish people would read up and not make assumptions.
Low carb in its various forms has been in use for several hundred years...with good results. Unlike the more recent option of counting calories and eating more processed food.
