Dd Has A Verruca The Size Of Wales On The Sole Of Her Foot.
14 Answers
I counted 9 and a couple that had merged into super sized verrucas.
I have been putting Extra Strenght Bazuka on it for about four days now and the skin around it has that soaked for too long in water look and it is too painful for her to let me file it much.
Three inches by two and a half!!! Is that the largest verruca in the world??L
Will the Dr try to get rid of it or should we take her to a chiropodist?

Every website I can find suggests that you need to allow several months!

Apparently there are two things used consistently to show size.
Wales and football pitches and I suppose double decker buses come a close third.
It is very painful for her. She is hobbling along but soldiers on. I would be a gibbering wreck by now. It covers the ball of her foot from toe line to just shy of her instep.
I think she is a bit peeved with me because it didn't hurt before I tried Bazokering it.

Definitely verrucas.
After only four days they are very painful for her. I had heard they can take months to get rid of but knowing how volatile she is I don't want the added pressure of being in pain for her (or us TBH).
Ah the volume of an Olympic swimming pool. How I remember at school to imagine the size and double it and what space would it take up? Obvious with Aphantasia something I couldn't and still can't do lol Maybe that is why I have poor spacial awareness!!

I was at a podiatrist's today and I asked what a certain machine that was there was for. It was called a Swift machine and it removes veruccas by microwave. They got it about a year ago and they were one of the first places in the country to have it. He said it's for stubborn veruccas that haven't responded to treatment. Might be worth looking into it if nothing else works
