I bought my wife one for Christmas (I have the Charge HR 2), what sort of info are you after? In general I find them to be good guides to activity levels, the text & call notifications can be handy when one's phone is in a pocket or bag. The silent alarms are pretty good although the vibration is quite weak so if doing something else at the time they are easily missed. The app on the iPhone is good but does work best if you take a little time with the manual. The ability to change straps easily means that my wife has a blingy one for high days and holidays and a utilitarian one for every day. The supplied rubber straps are ok but are limited in their adjustment points so we neither of us use them.

I agree with Fitz. I find it handy for when my phone is in my handbag, I never hear it ringing then, the vibration is quite weak, adjustment/ fastener on the original strap is not good, a fiddly to get on and I think I will get a more blingy one too, but the step counter is very handy.

I should have mentioned...
My old Charge HR is on its last legs...oh it works, but physically it's not in great shape.
So I'm looking for opinions on the alta...and the HR2 since it's been mentioned. I've got an Amazon voucher that needs using.

The Alta doesn’t do floors climbed or link with the GPS in your phone to track hikes etc. Also, the vibration in the Charge 2 is not a patch on the Charge 1 which did annoy me, I think the Alta is about as poor as the Charge 2

Are you saying that you're not happy with the Charge2?
Though you mention having the Charge 2 HR.
A bit confused.
